Well-done Robbie on another fantastic show day!!! Champion Heathrose ''Rag Nymph'' was awarded her second Grand Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed with high placings in all her side classes. Congratulations to Candice Higgins, proud owner of GCCF GR CH/GR PR & TICA SQGCA Heathrose ''Barney Rubble'' who was awarded his fourth Imperial Grand Premier Certificate at the above show (also well-done on your other awards today :-) ______________________________________________________________________ The Lancashire Cat Club Show 10/03/12 Grand Champion Heathrose ''Daylight Robbery'' had another ''red card day'' in addition to gaining his third Imperial Grand Challenge Certificate - Well-done Robbie!!! Champion Heathrose ''Rag Nymph'' was awarded Reserve Grand with Best of Breed and she too came 1st in all her side classes at the above show. Congratulations to Sheila from Pippakits Exotics with Heathrose ''Libertango'' (this was Libby's first adult show where she was awarded her first Challenge Certificate). Congratulations also to Margaret from Alindas Persians on your 1st, Best of Breed, 2 x 2nd's and 1 x 1st in sides with Heathrose ''Storia d'Amore'' (Tortoiseshell Persian Kitten). And last but not least... Congratulations to our dear friend Jean of Barleyfields Persians on your Overall Best In Show Persian win with Barleyfields ''Snow Fairy'' (White Persian kitten, the mother of which is Champion Heathrose Requiemforadream, a former Supreme Show BOB winner). ______________________________________________________________________ The Coventry and Leicester Cat Club Show 25/02/12 Congratulations to Candice Higgins on her fantastic day at the above show (particularly on Overall Best In Show Persian with your new addition from Cullykhan Persians). Candice also showed Heathrose ''Saint Elmosfire'' (Red Persians Kitten) who was awarded 1st and Best of Breed in his Open Class. Elmo also did very well in his side classes too! ______________________________________________________________________ The Scottish Cat Club Show 11/02/12 Grand Champion Heathrose ''Daylight Robbery'' (Robbie) was awarded his second Imperial Grand Challenge Certificate, Best of Breed, 3 x 1st's and went on to be Best In Show Persian Adult. A fantastic day for us and another ''Red Card Day'' for Robbie. Our many thanks to Isobella Bangs for thinking so highly of our boy and the same to his side class judges. Champion Heathrose ''Rag Nymph'' was awarded her first Grand Challenge Certificate, Best of Breed 2 x 1st's & 1 x 3rd in her side classes. ''Danika'' was also nominated for Best In Show (she and Robbie being the only ''adult'' Persians/Exotics to be selected for this honour). Please visit the following website for details of our cats Judge's critiques: http://www.gccfcats.org/JudgeReports/judgereports.html ______________________________________________________________________ GCCF Cat Show Calendar: GCCF Cat Shows are one day events usually held on Saturdays, occasionally Sundays, normally open to the public from 1pm (approx), after the main judging has finished, until 5 pm. The size of show varies from small single breed shows to large all breed shows such as the GCCF Supreme Cat Show. Nearly all shows are "Championship" Shows, where GCCF registered cats can compete to win classes to gain GCCF certificates that count towards titles. Adults can become Champions, Grand Champions, Imperial Grand Champions and Olympian Imperial Grand Champions (Gold, Silver & Bronze). Neutered cats win Premier certificates in the same categories, and Household Pets (pedigree and non-pedigree) can achieve Master Cat titles for their successes. GCCF also licenses some agricultural shows to allow for the competitive exhibiting of cats. However, certificates are not awarded at these and they are designated on the calendar as Exemption Shows.
