Heathrose Persians & Exotics Cat/Kitten Sales Agreement (Contract of Sale - Pet only)

And (hereinafter called The Purchaser). ------------------------------------------------- Whereby it is agreed that for a consideration of £ ? , receipt of which the Breeder/Vendor hereby acknowledges; The Breeder/Vendor agrees to sell, and the Purchaser agrees to purchase the cat/kitten as described above.

Conditions of sale agreed by the Breeder/Vendor and Purchaser:

1. I (the purchaser) have examined the Cat/Kitten prior to sale and I am satisfied with the condition and health at the time of purchase. 2. I (the purchaser) agree to take appropriate care of the Cat/Kitten and will ensure that it receives whatever treatment will be necessary to maintain its good health from the time of purchase. 3. I (the purchaser) agree to take full responsibility for all veterinary costs and other expenses which may be incurred from the time of purchase. 4. Sold purely as a household pet; this Cat/Kitten shall not at any time be bred from; neither will the purchaser allow any such use to be made of the Cat/Kitten by any other party. The Cat/Kitten will be spayed/neutered before attaining the age of ? months by a veterinary surgeon/practitioner. I acknowledge/accept as the purchaser that any registration documentation shall be withheld until proof of spaying/neutering has been supplied to the breeder/vendor from my veterinary surgeon/practitioner stating that this has been carried out (i.e. a stamped receipt). 5. This Cat/Kitten may not under any circumstances be entered into a cat show/shown. 6. This Cat/kitten shall not at any time be re sold or re homed without the breeder/vendors prior knowledge. If for any reason it becomes necessary for the purchaser to transfer ownership of the Cat/Kitten to another party, the purchaser agrees to undertake full responsibility to retain a signed contract with the exact terms to those contained herein. 7. The purchaser agrees that the breeder/vendor may make one home inspection during the first year of purchase in order to ensure the Cat/Kittens' well being is being maintained. This may include an arranged/unexpected home visit, to which the purchaser agrees that they will not refuse access to the Cat/Kitten. 8. In the event of this contract being breached, e.g. the Cat/Kitten being deemed ill kept, the breeder/vendor (Ian Morris / Jonathon Rewcastle - Heathrose Persians and Exotics) shall have the right to repossess legally the Cat/Kitten and to be reimbursed by the purchaser for the reasonable costs of such repossession and the keeping of the Cat/Kitten for a period of up to two months. Such costs will include veterinary examination at the veterinary practice of the breeder/vendors choice and advertising fees to re home the Cat/Kitten. No monetary reimbursement will be given for any repossessed kitten/cat. The breeder/vendor agrees to obtain veterinary proof of neglect and will forward such proof to the purchaser confirming this. Should the breeder/vendor fail to obtain proof of neglect, the breeder/vendor agrees to return the Cat/Kitten to the purchaser immediately.
